LP Lagos Gov Candidate Alleges Threat To Life


The Lagos State governorship candidate under the Labour Party, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, has raised the alarm on death threats and assassination attempts on his life.


Appearing on Arise TV on Sunday, the governorship candidate stated that he was attacked on Saturday.


He said, "There have been lots of threats. We have gotten a lot of intel about potential assassination attempts on my life. Yes, it happened in Epe. 


"We had Honourable Wale Oluwo with us and we also had Honourable Najid of the PDP working with us and they were also shot at in Epe yesterday."

  Presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has vowed that he will return Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Benue to their ancestral homes once he is elected. Tinubu made this assurance while addressing thousands of supporters during the APC presidential rally at Aper Aku Stadium in Makurdi, Benue state capital.   A leading Nigerian commercial bank, Zenith Bank has returned N3.23 million to Chiamaka Agim, a Lagos State resident whose N4.039 million was erroneously deducted on January 9. It had been reported how Zenith Bank earlier told Agim that she would only get N800,500 out of the debited N4,039,900. However, the bank returned N3,239,400 on the evening of Monday, January 16. The Zenith Bank customer had shared a post yesterday on her Twitter page about the refund. Agim said the bank contacted her on that Monday to update her on the refunded money. “I did not receive any alert because they had to put my account on hold after the incident happened.
