Atiku lost presidential polls, primaries six times

Serial presidential aspirant Atiku Abubakar once again lost out in the February 25th presidential election. 


Fortune failed to smile at him this time around again. Atiku, since 1993, has continued to eye the presidency seat but has been unsuccessful.


Running for President six times — 1993, 2007, 2011, 2015, 2019, 2023 — was fraught with many of the same hurdles. 


He has contested six times for presidential tickets. On February 25, it was the third time he lost a presidential contest. 


At 76, this may be Atiku’s last attempt at having a shot at the presidency. 


The former Vice-President first ventured into politics in the 1980s when he campaigned for Bamanga Tukur, a former Governor of old Gongola.

I’ll close IDP camps, return victims to their communities if elected – Tinubu

  Presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has vowed that he will return Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Benue to their ancestral homes once he is elected. Tinubu made this assurance while addressing thousands of supporters during the APC presidential rally at Aper Aku Stadium in Makurdi, Benue state capital. Zenith Bank finally bows to pressure Pays N3.23m To Lady Captured In Viral Video Crying Over Stolen Funds of ₦4 million

  A leading Nigerian commercial bank, Zenith Bank has returned N3.23 million to Chiamaka Agim, a Lagos State resident whose N4.039 million was erroneously deducted on January 9. It had been reported how Zenith Bank earlier told Agim that she would only get N800,500 out of the debited N4,039,900. However, the bank returned N3,239,400 on the evening of Monday, January 16. The Zenith Bank customer had shared a post yesterday on her Twitter page about the refund. Agim said the bank contacted her on that Monday to update her on the refunded money. “I did not receive any alert because they had to put my account on hold after the incident happened.
